What employers say about us

Demetra Mascherin
Summo Steel
Burlington, ON

Summo Steel, a fast-growing Burlington firm specializing in the automotive industry, employs about 70 temporary employees on an ongoing basis.

“Before working with 3PL, I had been using three or four different firms and wasn’t getting the service I thought I should. The difference at 3PL has been phenomenal – they listen to me, so they know exactly what I want. They always send me the right people, and the service is outstanding.

“In our industry, demand goes up and down so this service is extremely important to us. I wouldn’t use anybody else. I highly recommend them to anyone needing temporary staff because I know you won’t be disappointed. “3PL allows us to work with people for three to six months to see if they’ll be a good fit. If they are, we bring them on payroll. If they're not, 3PL sends us someone new. We don’t have to worry about terminations, and that’s what we need in a busy environment like this.”

Pete VanEs
Outfront Portable Solutions
Beamsville, ON

OutFront Portable Solutions is a total service company that designs, manufactures and installs complete Portable Garden Centre Systems. The seasonal nature of the business, with the crunch coming from January to May each year, means there is a high peak demand for production welders, forklift operators and general labourers.

“We have worked with a number of temporary labour agencies over the past seven years. We switched to 3PL two years ago. We deal with them exclusively now, and I can say we have had absolutely no problem with the service. They respond quickly when I call, and generally speaking they send us good people that we can work with.

I can’t say that about (two larger competitors). Frankly I was fed up with the service. They would take forever to get back to me, and the quality of people they were sending me wasn’t satisfactory. 3PL seems to have a high percentage of good people in their labour pool, and they treat their people fairly.”
